Translation Style
Translation Style controls how your translations read — the voice and how freely the AI may rephrase. It lives under Omnalingo → Settings → AI Settings, next to AI Context and the Glossary.

Writing Voice
Section titled “Writing Voice”How the translations should sound:
| Voice | Best for |
|---|---|
| Balanced (default) | Balanced professional prose — the safe default for most sites. |
| Playful | Energetic, witty, light-hearted prose — marketing copy, consumer brands, social-adjacent sites. |
| Conversational | Relaxed prose where word choice and rhythm feel familiar. |
| Polished | Considered prose for corporate, legal, or institutional contexts. |
Translation Freedom
Section titled “Translation Freedom”How freely the AI may depart from the source wording:
| Freedom | What it does |
|---|---|
| Faithful | Stays close to the source structure and order (still idiomatic). Best for legal, technical, or spec content. |
| Natural (default, recommended) | Idiomatic and fluent — rewords freely so it reads as if written in the target language. |
| Transcreation | Freely rewrites for maximum impact. Best for headlines, taglines, and marketing copy. |
Match these to your content: a marketing site might pick Playful + Transcreation; a law firm Polished + Faithful; a docs or product site Balanced + Faithful.
