Translated Meta Tags

Your search snippets and social-share previews come from meta tags — the SEO title, the meta description, and the Open Graph / social tags. Omnalingo treats these as translatable text, so each language gets its own localized version.

Meta tags show up as ordinary strings in your translation lists — labelled with a meta tag type (for example title, og:description, og:site_name) in the Full Text List and a page’s string list. They’re translated exactly like body text:

  • Auto Translate picks them up with the rest of the page.
  • Or translate and refine them by hand in the lists or the Visual Editor.

The result: a French page shows a French title and description in Google’s results, and a French preview when it’s shared on social media.

Because Omnalingo translates the meta tags your site actually outputs, it localizes the titles and descriptions produced by SEO plugins like Yoast or Rank Math — they’re just more strings on the page once rendered.
