Each activated language is capped at 1 million AI words per year to prevent abuse.

Pricing questions
What does the free version include?
Everything the plugin does on your own server: unlimited languages, unlimited sites, the visual in-page editor, translated URLs and slugs, sitemaps and hreflang, the browser-language banner and redirect, the switcher with localized flags, XLIFF import and export, the translator role, WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads including their emails, and gettext strings from your theme and plugins. No account, no key, nothing to unlock.
You can run a complete multilingual site on it and translate by hand in the visual editor or through an agency with XLIFF. It also includes 2,000 AI words, so you can see what the translation service does with your own pages before you decide.
So what exactly am I paying for?
The translating itself. The AI Translation Service runs on our infrastructure and keeps your site translated as you publish: premium page-aware AI, voice and formality control, the glossary, bulk translation, and automatic re-translation when you edit.
Building the plugin cost us plenty, but it cost us once. Every page the AI translates costs us again, so that is the part with a price on it.
What is a language activation, and how does it work?
A language activation is a one-time purchase that lets the AI translate and maintain one language of your choice. The subscription includes one. Further languages are €29 each, paid once, with no recurring add-on cost. An activation does not renew and does not expire; the subscription is what does the translating.
You can still set up and hand-translate as many languages as you want without activating any of them.
What happens to a language I bought if I stop the AI Translation Service?
It goes dormant, not away. Your translated pages stay live for visitors, and every translation stays in your own database where you can still edit it by hand. What stops is the AI: new and changed content is no longer translated automatically. When you renew, the language resumes exactly where it left off. You never buy the same language twice.
Will my translations be lost if I cancel?
Never. They live in your own WordPress database and they belong to you regardless of what you pay us.
Do I need my own OpenAI, Gemini or Claude account?
No. Omnalingo runs the AI infrastructure and picks the right model for each translation automatically. No API keys, no separate accounts, no per-token bills to reconcile.
Can I use Omnalingo on more than one website?
The plugin, yes, on as many sites as you like, with no account and no key. The AI Translation Service is bought per website.
Standard development environments — localhost, .local, and the common staging subdomains — don't count as separate sites, so your production subscription covers your development workflow. Running several production sites? Get in touch about agency pricing.
Do I have to track my word usage?
No. There is no meter to watch and no quota dashboard to check. Fair use is 1,000,000 AI words per activated language per year, and the cap is there to stop abuse rather than to meter your site.
How many words does a typical website have?
A small business site of 30–50 pages runs to roughly 15,000–25,000 words. An active blog might reach 100,000–200,000. A large WooCommerce store with hundreds of products can reach 500,000. For scale, Shakespeare's complete works total 884,000. Almost every site sits below a tenth of the yearly limit.
What if I reach the 1 million word limit?
Translation for that language pauses and we'd like to hear from you. Once we've checked there's nothing unusual going on, we'll find a way forward together.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes — 15 days on the AI Translation Service, no questions asked. A language activation can be refunded while it is unused, meaning no AI words have been spent on that language. Once the AI has translated with it, the activation has been used and is no longer refundable.
What kind of support do I get?
The documentation is open to everyone. Customers with an active AI Translation Service get email support from the people who built the plugin.
